ABOUT Lorain County Smackdown WrestlER OF THE WEEK
Wrestler of the Week 🏆
Do you know a Lorain County high school wrestler who shows grit, sportsmanship, and resilience—no matter what the scoreboard says? This is your chance to recognize them!
📩 How it works:
- Nominations are open until 6:00 PM every Monday.
- All nominations are reviewed by a committee of non–Lorain County wrestling community members to keep the process fair and unbiased.
- Not selected for the top 4? Don’t worry—every nominee is worthy, and there’s always next week!
🗳 Voting timeline:
- Top 4 finalists are posted Tuesday evening.
- Voting stays open until Thursday at 9:00 AM.
- The Wrestler of the Week is announced later that day!
